Melita koreana カギメリタヨコエビ 岡田ら 1965 565 fig.800. Yamato 1987 285-288 figs.7-10. Ishimaru 1994 50. 西村 1995 186 pl.80-12 fig.21-158A-F.

　 向島の潮間帯転石下，天草（Yamato 1987）， 本州以南の潮間帯転石場に広く分布（西村 1995）． 干潮線付近の石の下，カキ殻の間などに普通（岡田ら 1965）．

　 褐色ないし黒褐色の地に種々の淡色の縞（岡田ら 1965）， よく似た模様をもつ未記載種は第3尾肢外肢が2分節する（今原 2011）． 再記載（Yamato 1987）には模様への言及なし， 模様のない個体も（西村 1995 pl.80-12）．
　 瀬戸内海産 Melita koreana は少なくとも4種の近縁種から成り， 新動物図鑑所載の図^*1は Melita rylovae （長崎大学 1986 p.13）．
^*1 体表ほとんど平滑，第5腹節背縁に3-4対の棘を具え歯状を呈しない（岡田ら 1965）など， Yamato 1987 による Melita rylovae の記載とは合致しない部分がある．
